Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez Joins Community in Honoring America’s Heroes at Miami Beach Memorial Weekend Tradition

Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez joined residents, veterans, military families, first responders, and community leaders at the National Salute to America’s Heroes in Miami Beach, a longstanding Memorial Day weekend tradition dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for the United States. 

The event brought together thousands of attendees to recognize the courage, service, and dedication of members of the Armed Forces, first responders, and all those who have defended the freedoms Americans enjoy every day. Through military demonstrations, tributes, and community gatherings, the celebration served as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by generations of heroes in service to the nation. 

“Events like this remind us of the tremendous debt of gratitude we owe to the men and women who have worn the uniform and answered the call to serve,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Their commitment, sacrifice, and love of country continue to inspire us and strengthen the values that unite our nation.”
