Dariel Fernandez, Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, Announces TPS Venezuela Holders Are Now Eligible Through November 7, 2025

Miami, FL — September 8, 2025 — The Miami-Dade County Tax Collector’s Office is advising the public of important guidance regarding the documentation of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Venezuelan nationals.

TPS Venezuela holders who present either of the following:

•    An approved Form I-797 for I-821, or
•    An approved Employment Authorization Document (EAD)
 

with expiration dates of September 9, 2022, March 10, 2024, or September 10, 2025, are entitled to issuance of documents and services through November 7, 2025.

Residents are encouraged to review their documents carefully to ensure they remain in compliance and to present the necessary paperwork when requesting services at the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector’s Office.
