As families across Miami-Dade prepare for the start of a new school year, the Office of the Tax Collector, led by Dariel Fernandez, has proudly stepped up to support students and parents alike through meaningful community engagement.

📍 Hialeah Back-to-School Bash 

Our Tax Collector team was honored to participate in Hialeah’s Back-to-School Bash & National Night Out, a vibrant gathering that brought together hundreds of residents and numerous community partners. The event served as a joyful celebration of unity, safety, and education.

“We’re committed to ensuring every family in our community has the support they need to start the school year strong,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Events like these help us build trust, connect with residents, and remind students that their success is our shared priority.”

🎒 Voices For Children’s Back-to-School Donation Drive

The Office of the Tax Collector also proudly supported Voices For Children’s Back-to-School Donation Drive, providing essential school supplies to children and youth in foster care throughout the county.

“Our entire team came together to make a difference,” shared Tax Collector Fernandez. “Every child deserves the chance to learn and grow in a supportive environment—regardless of their circumstances.”
