Statement By Dariel Fernandez On The Speech Of Communist Socialist Puppet Díaz-Canel: The Cuban People Want The End Of The Dictatorship
The Cuban dictatorship continues repeating the same excuse, blaming everything on an “embargo” that does not explain the reality the Cuban people are living. The truth is that the biggest obstacle to Cuba’s progress has never been external pressure. The real problem has always been the communist and socialist dictatorship that has destroyed the economy, silenced the people, persecuted believers, and taken away the freedom and dignity of an entire nation.
For decades the regime has used the same propaganda to justify its failures while ordinary Cubans suffer blackouts, shortages of medicine, lack of food, and the absence of opportunity. Instead of taking responsibility, they blame others for the disaster they created. The truth is simple. The only real embargo in Cuba is the embargo imposed by the communist dictatorship on the Cuban people, blocking their freedom, their opportunities, and their future.
Let me be very clear, especially for the media and for those who continue calling Díaz-Canel a “leader” or referring to the regime as a “government.” In Cuba there is no government. It is a dictatorship. Understand this once and for all.
The Cuban people have been demanding freedom and the end of the dictatorship for years. The world has seen it again this week, as brave Cubans have taken to the streets day after day demanding liberty. Even under repression, fear, and darkness, the voice of the people continues to rise. They are not asking for favors. They are demanding what belongs to them: freedom, dignity, and the right to decide the future of their nation.
The Cuban people know the truth. The only embargo that truly exists is the embargo imposed by the communist dictatorship on the Cuban people themselves. The crisis in Cuba is the result of a murderous communist and socialist dictatorship that has oppressed its people for more than sixty years. Dialogue has no place in a real transition. True change will only come with the fall and the end of that dictatorship. The future of Cuba will not be decided by the speeches of the regime. The future of Cuba will be decided by the courage of its people and by the end of the communist and socialist system that has kept the island in darkness.
