Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez Joins CAMACOL Leaders in Support of Community and Economic Growth
Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez joined business and community leaders at CAMACOL’s World Cup Reception, an event that brought together professionals from across South Florida to celebrate community leadership, economic development, and charitable initiatives that continue to make a difference throughout Miami-Dade County.
The reception provided an opportunity for leaders from various industries to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss the future of the region. Fernandez recognized CAMACOL’s longstanding commitment to supporting the local business community while also investing in programs that directly benefit families in need.
For more than four decades, CAMACOL’s annual Christmas Food Distribution program, known as Jabas de Navidad, has helped provide food and holiday assistance to thousands of families across South Florida. The program has become a meaningful tradition that reflects the organization’s dedication to serving the community beyond the business sector.
“Organizations like CAMACOL play an important role in strengthening our community and creating opportunities for future growth,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Their commitment to service and community engagement continues to have a lasting impact on families throughout Miami-Dade.”
Fernandez thanked CAMACOL President Joe Chi and the organization’s leadership team for bringing together community and business leaders in support of an important cause. He also emphasized the value of partnerships that help improve quality of life and support economic opportunity throughout the county.
As Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, Fernandez remains committed to supporting organizations that strengthen communities, promote economic growth, and create meaningful opportunities for residents and businesses alike.
