Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez recently joined members of the Miami Beach Tuesday Morning Breakfast Club, engaging with residents and community leaders in a conversation focused on service, accessibility, and community priorities. The gathering provided an opportunity to connect directly with residents, answer questions, and share updates on the work being done by the Tax Collector’s Office.

Fernandez highlighted the importance of open dialogue and staying engaged with the community to better understand their needs. “Opportunities like this allow us to listen, connect, and ensure we are delivering the services our residents expect,” Fernandez said. During the event, Fernandez also discussed the newly opened Miami Beach office, emphasizing how expanding access to services at the local level makes it easier for residents to complete essential transactions without unnecessary travel or delays. As Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, Fernandez reaffirmed his commitment to transparency, accessibility, and community engagement.

He noted that building strong relationships with residents is key to improving service delivery and ensuring government remains responsive. The event reflected the ongoing effort to bring government closer to the people — creating spaces for conversation, collaboration, and continued connection across Miami-Dade County.
