Mobile Driver License Event Coming to District 6
The Miami-Dade County Tax Collector’s Office, led by Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez, in partnership with Miami-Dade County Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis, and is bringing essential driver license and motor vehicle services directly to District 6 residents through a Mobile Driver License Event.

Services Available
Residents will be able to access a full range of essential services without having to travel far. The mobile office will provide:
- Driver License Renewal, Replacement, and Reinstatement
- Original ID and Renewal
- Car Registration Renewal
- Adding/Removing Organ Donor Designation and Other Restrictions
- Handicap Permit Renewal and Application
What to Bring
To ensure proper processing, individuals must bring original documents to validate their identity:
- U.S. Citizens: Passport, Passport Card, U.S. Birth Certificate, or Naturalization Certificate (all originals), plus Social Security card and proof of address.
- Residents: I-551 Resident Card, Social Security card, and proof of address.
- Non-Immigrants: Immigration documents proving legal status and proof of address.
💡 Reminder: If your current driver license or ID has a yellow star, it already meets the federal REAL ID requirement, except in cases where you need to update your address.
