The Miami-Dade County Office of the Tax Collector is proud to announce the upcoming opening of its newest branch at 224 Minorca Avenue, Coral Gables, FL 33134 — the first Tax Collector’s Office in the history of the City of Coral Gables. The launch comes at a momentous time, coinciding with the city’s 100th anniversary celebration.
“This is a historic milestone for the City Beautiful,” said Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “For the first time, Coral Gables residents will be able to access essential government services without leaving their city. It is a major step toward improving service delivery and making government more efficient and responsive.”
The new Coral Gables branch will provide a comprehensive suite of services, making it easier than ever for residents to take care of important transactions without traveling far. Services will include:
Driver license and identification card processing
Property and business tax payments
Specialty parking permits
Fishing and hunting licenses
Vehicle registration and title services
And much more
By bringing these resources to the heart of Coral Gables, the Tax Collector’s Office is delivering on its commitment to modernize operations, reduce travel times, and make government services more accessible and convenient for the community.
As the City Beautiful marks a century of history, this new chapter reflects a shared vision of progress, efficiency, and service.
