Summer Internship Tax Collector Office (1)

This summer, the Office of the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector proudly welcomed a dynamic group of young minds into its halls as part of our Summer Internship Program. Nearly a dozen students were selected to participate in this initiative, gaining firsthand experience in public service while contributing meaningfully to the work we do every day.

From the moment they stepped through our doors, these bright interns brought fresh energy, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Over the course of the program, they immersed themselves in various aspects of our operations—from customer service and administrative processes to policy research and community outreach.

Their journey culminated in a series of final presentations that reflected not only what they had learned but how they had grown. Each intern shared insights, projects, and takeaways that left our team impressed and inspired. These weren’t just summer jobs—they were opportunities to shape the future of public service.

To celebrate their hard work, we gathered for a heartfelt farewell filled with laughter, stories, and—of course—a few well-earned slices of pizza. It was a moment to recognize not just what they accomplished, but who they’ve become: confident, capable, and passionate young leaders ready to make a difference in their communities.

To our interns: thank you. Your dedication and enthusiasm have left a lasting mark on our office. We are proud of what you’ve achieved and excited for what’s next in your journey.

Join us in wishing them continued success as they move forward to serve, lead, and inspire wherever their paths may take them.
