Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez Joins Association of Haitian Educators of Dade (AHED) Breakfast Celebrating 35 Years of Service

The Miami-Dade County Office of the Tax Collector joined the Association of Haitian Educators of Dade (AHED) for their 35th Anniversary Breakfast, honoring more than three decades of service and dedication to education in Miami-Dade County.  

Since its founding in 1989, AHED has been a driving force for academic excellence and opportunity, supporting generations of Haitian students and families through mentorship, advocacy, and community involvement.  

“As your Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, I’m proud to recognize the lasting impact of the Association of Haitian Educators of Dade and its members,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Their work reminds us that education is the foundation of progress and the cornerstone of every strong community. Congratulations on 35 years of leadership and service.”
