Description: The TC IT Infrastructure Supervisor is an advanced administrative and supervisory position that involves coordinating information technology support for the collection of taxes and fees, and the delivery of motorist and driver’s license services in support of the Miami-Dade County Office of the Tax Collector.  Employees in this class are responsible for planning, assigning and reviewing the work of subordinate personnel, coordinating work to be performed with other organizational areas, as well as the State of Florida and third-party vendors, and recommending improvements.  The incumbent exercises independent judgment with primary emphasis on planning and supervising the work of several professional technical personnel to meet objectives in operation and maintenance of major and complex telecommunication and computer systems and networks.  Responsibilities also include acting as liaison with other public and private agencies, third-party vendors, as well as agencies involved in setting policy and standards for telecommunication and computer networks.
