Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez Launches Countywide Christmas Toy Drive Benefiting Voices for Children
Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez is leading a countywide Christmas Toy Drive to help bring holiday joy to the children who need it most. In partnership with Voices for Children, an organization that supports more than 1,400 children in foster care across Miami-Dade, the Tax Collector’s Office is opening all 11 Tax Collector offices as official donation drop-off locations.
“We’re helping bring a little Christmas joy to the children who need it most,” said Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez. “Every toy donated is a reminder to a child in foster care that they are seen, cared for, and valued during the holiday season.”
Residents, businesses, and community groups are invited to donate new, unwrapped toys throughout the month. Even the smallest gift can make a meaningful difference for a child who deserves to feel hope, warmth, and joy this Christmas.
How to Help
Drop off new, unwrapped toys at any Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Office during regular business hours.

- Sports balls and outdoor toys
- Books for early readers and kids
